Our Maxdor 402 Fire-Rated Acoustic Door is available with acoustic performance up to 34DB for single doors & 35DB for double doors with up to 240 mins fire resistance and can be provided with personnel, exit and security functionality.
Maxdor Fire Rated Acoustic doors are available in single, double or leaf and a half formats and are provided as a complete door frame, door leaf, hardware and threshold units. The use of acoustic fire doors is to control noise generated from plant, extractors and ventilation systems whilst providing a secure, fire-resistant barrier.

Maxdor Fire Rated Acoustic Doors are tested to the internationally recognised CERTIFIRE mark of fire safety. Doors are subjected to furnace testing resisting temperatures of up to 1100 degrees Centigrade for a period in excess of 4 hours/240 minutes.
Maxdor Doors are fabricated using long life rust resistant zinc coarust-resistantr frame features a 90mm or 150mm front to back profile with integral single rebate.
45mm thick door leaf, with integal anti-jemmy strips and 6No. or 9No. dog bolts to suit the size of the door. Hinges are high quality grade 13 stainless steel, available as standard or lift-off versions to BS. EN 1935:2002 (4No. on standard doors, 6No. for oversize doors).
Door skins come with the choice of solid doors or partial glazing/vision panels.
Glazing is available with fire rated single or double glazing, Georgian Wired glass, as well as fire rated panels.
Threshold options of folded steel, aluminium DDA compliant and a double ramped aluminium threshold are available.
Maxdor Fire rated acoustic doors come with options for locking and operation.

Hardware can be upgraded to meet different access requirements. Options include:

Security Door Cylinders are provided with the option of Brisant, Ultion Cylinders or Sold Secure diamond / TS007 3 star rated. Available as key/key, key/turn or key outside only.
Door security can be enhanced with door skins having 1.5mm or 2mm thickness and optional part timber infill.
Maxdor Fire DB Doors can be specified as either free swinging door sets or with door closers providing door control. Limit stays providing a restricted opening are also available.

Doors are available in a choice of standard RAL colours from the Interpon / Akzo-Nobel powder range. Minimum paint thickness is approx. 30 – 50 Microns. Optional include woodgrain colours, textured powder coating and the full RAL colour range.
